Carbon Infrared Lamps: Packing Serious Heat, Without Taking Up Space
We build carbon infrared Lamps for the engineers who need heat on demand. The kind that hits hard, stays consistent, and fits into a tight spot. These aren’t delicate little bulbs. They’re built for the jobs where you need to crank the heat up fast and keep it there.
Let’s talk about what makes them tick: Power, Voltage, and Size
Here’s the thing about these lamps. It all comes down to three things: wattage, voltage, and length. That’s because those numbers tell you exactly what you’re getting. Take a 2500W lamp running on 400V. That’s a lot of energy packed into the filament, which means the heat comes on almost instantly. And the 300mm tube? That concentrates all that power into a tight, focused zone. Perfect for fitting into cramped machine spaces. Just remember, this setup needs a steady 400V supply. If you try to run it on a lower voltage, you lose power and that rock-solid temperature control.
Built to survive. Built to work.
The quartz envelope is the real hero here. It handles the shock of heating up and cooling down, cycle after cycle, while letting the infrared energy pass right through. We also put a reflective coating on the lamp. This isn’t just for looks. It pushes all the energy forward, so you’re not wasting heat and risking damage to parts nearby. And for the connector? We went with an R7s. It’s a simple, secure fit that pops right into standard sockets. The whole design is tough, straightforward, and ready to take whatever the factory floor throws at it.
Where they shine: From PET Blowing to Shrink Tunnels
In PET blowing, the lamp gives you that focused heat that softens the preform quickly and evenly. It’s the same story with shrink tunnels, thermoforming, and curing lines. You get predictable, reliable heat without having to over-complicate the whole system. Now, with this kind of heat density, you do need to plan ahead. Make sure you’ve got proper cooling and shielding to protect the electronics around it. But once you do, it’s a drop-in replacement that just keeps your process running without a hitch.
